Since September 2017 High Street Dental Care has been working towards becoming a Dental Foundation Training (DFT) practice. This means we can mentor a newly qualified dentist, who’s next step is to spend a year working in general practice. Only experienced dental practitioner’s who have the ability to teach and help new dentists are appointed as trainers. We are pleased to announce that Gemma one of our dental nurse’s gave birth to a baby girl in January named Georgia. Gemma, her husband and big brother Noah are all besotted with their new arrival. We look forward to her return to work in November.

In other news, Rachael, one of our other dental nurse’s has now achieved a Certificate in Oral Health, making her a qualified oral health educator, so if you feel you need any advice on the best way to look after your teeth feel free to arrange to see her at the practice.

After 26 years of owning the practice Mr Rushworth took the decision to retire in December 2017, leaving the practice and staff in the capable hands of Sotirios. Mr Rushworth is currently enjoying spending time with his family, riding his bike and visiting places on his wish list.
