Sotirios is the owner of High Street Dental Care. He studied at Athens University and graduated in 2004. He worked for several years in Sheffield and Chesterfield before taking over High Street Dental Care in February 2017. He has a personal interest in Restorative/Adhesive Dentistry, Minor Oral Surgery and Implantology, having completed his Masters in restorative dentistry at Sheffield University in 2008 and a yearlong certificate course in Implantology at Manchester Trafford Hospital in 2010.
Sotirios is also a partner at Staveley Dental Care in Chesterfield which started as a new practice in May 2010. He strives for excellence and has a reputation for delivering clinical and patient care to the very highest standard. This is communicated to the next generation of dentists through the Dental Foundation Training Scheme and Sotirios has been a Foundation Trainer for the South Yorkshire and East Midlands Deaneries since 2009 having mentored several young graduates so far.
Charlotte Walsh

Charlotte qualified from Sheffield in 1997 and then worked in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery for 2 years in Manchester and Wakefield. In 2000 she gained her MFDS, a diploma which shows an enhanced knowledge, understanding, experience and clinical competence in dentistry. She returned to General Practice in 2000 and has worked at High Street Dental Care since 2005.
Charlotte has also spent time at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital supervising undergraduate students in Oral Surgery.
Charlotte is married with 2 children. She aims to provide high quality dental care in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Mr William Tighe

William Tighe graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2009. He undertook postgraduate position at The Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in 2010 improving his skills in orthodontics, paediatrics, oral surgery and restorative dentistry.
William became a permanent member of the team at High Street Dental in 2011. He has extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry. William prioritises taking the time with each patient to discuss his or her needs, creating a tailored treatment plan to ensure the best results. William enjoys providing care for the whole family, utilising stickers and puppets to make young children feel as relaxed as possible.
He is qualified to provide Cfast orthodontic treatment a fast, discrete and affordable method to straighten adult teeth.
On a more personal level William loves the outdoors and enjoys mountaineering and skiing.
Dr Dimitri Boutsias

Dr Boutsias has a special interest in implant placement and restoration with dental and science degrees from the Witwatersrand School of Dentistry, South Africa. He holds a Masters degree in Prosthodontics from Kings College, London, United Kingdom. He also completed his American National Board Dental Examination whilst on a student exchange program at Harvard University.
Dr. Boutsias has published numerous dental research articles in world renowned dental and science journals.
Fluent in English and Greek, Dr. Boutsias is able to communicate with his patients on a personal as well as professional level. He is kind, gentle and soft spoken and empathetic to the needs of his patients. Dr. Boutsias spends a lot of time discussing various treatment options and educating his patients on good oral hygiene.
Mr Abdurahman El-Awa (Abs)

Abdurahman El-Awa (Abs) is a Consultant in Oral Surgery. He has extensive experience in Oral Surgery and has a special interest in Difficult Dental Extractions, Dental Implants , Bone Grafting procedures, as well as providing Sedation for nervous dental patients . He is renowned for his calm and patient chairside manner.
Mr El-Awa qualified in 2003 in Cairo and moved to the UK in 2006 to embark upon specialist training in Oral Surgery. Since then he has trained in Glasgow Dental School, Glasgow Southern General Hospitals, Sheffield Dental School, Sheffield University Hospitals and Royal Derby Hospitals. Mr El-Awa has completed postgraduate training and specialist clinical training in Oral Surgery in the UK. He is a member of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England as well as the international team of implantology. Mr El-Awa is an examiner for the college of surgeons where he examines newly qualified oral surgery specialists.
Mr El-Awa worked as a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Manchester Teaching Hospitals and currently is a Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals where he teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate dentists and dental students.
